Windsor has a lot of beautiful cafes, but my personal favourite is Gina's Cafe Nothing better than walking into a beautiful, cozy Italian cafe with such a rich history dating back to the 60’s when it was Sorrento’s. Gina and Cosimo are the husband and wife owners. Both very lovely, hard working people who have always greeted me in the nicest manner. Gina even took the time after a brief conversation to explain the history behind the location and the business itself. It was a lovely conversation to say the least. The desserts especially the almond biscotti is heavenly. The paninis and pizza are perfection to say the least. The espressos, macchiatos, and cappuccinos are perfectly made and always put some pep in my step. This is truly a cafe with charm, amazing hosts, and lovely Italian music always playing. If you’re going to support a local business, especially exploring the local cafes of Windsor, I insist you come visit Gina’s ☕️❤️
We came Sunday, 17, for a coffee, a latte and a cappuccino, with a tart and a cannelloni which were very good, and the baking fresh. Jian, I hope that is his name, gave good service and was very friendly. We told him we do not like to be addressed as ‘You Guys’ but ladies is more appropriate, or madam/sir as the case may be. Even though it is widely used these days does not mean it is proper/acceptable. Plan to be back one day!
On my way elsewhere I walked by this place and the people sitting out on the patio seats had really delicious looking coffees and it smelled good, so I had to go back after my errands were done to try. Glad I did! It has been a really long time since I've had a really good coffee. I ordered a pistachio cream frappe and you can taste the espresso added to it and it brings me back to having coffee with my nonno as a child. It's perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter. Very rich, deep flavor. The pastry tempted me as I waited for my coffee to be made, sitting on the counter on the tray. It was as flaky as it looked with a nice crunch and a light citrus custard in the middle. Reasonably priced! I will definitely have to come back and see if I can convince my husband to come along for a quality coffee too.
Jean our server was very kind and knowledgeable of their entire menu. Gave us some really good suggestions. We really enjoyed our dinner. Was made fresh and hot.
Inattentive service - tired broken furniture - Americano was more like diner coffee and washrooms as clean as the New York Subway. Clean the place, fix the furniture and have a better attitude.
This Emmazing Coffee shop, The best I ever see and and very beautiful place Very Clean, Very Organized, wifi free, Foods are perfect, Italian food, Cake's the best I ever try in my life, I been traveling all over the world, As professional sound engineering, Lebanese and Canadian at the same time, even in Dubai they don't have anything like it's, The prices very Ifordebal, very nice Italian people own the Emmazing Coffee shops, I Advice all Professional people's to Go over there, Ali fawaz professional sound engineering and music and Entertainment industry all over the world.
Cute Italian Cafe where the majority of customers speak Italian. Sitting out on the patio you will feel transported to Italy! Cute adorable place with great esspresso, homemade canollis and cakes etc. Had their thin crust pizza and they broil their cheese so the top is that yummy gorgeous brown. Gina is like having a sweetheart Italian foster mom!
