Shortly after Demarco’s opened, I was referred there by a friend because they had gluten free and dairy free options (along side typical food options with all the gluten and dairy). As soon as I walked through the door, I knew I would be back because the environment is so welcoming by Ray and Felicia. It is so nice to walk in and be greeted by such friendly faces that know me. I don’t usually get that service at the bigger stores. I love that Demarco’s is an independent grocery store that supports other local businesses. They always have a unique food item that you haven’t seen anywhere else. I have been shopping there almost every week for years and do 95% of my grocery shopping there. If there is anything that Demarco’s doesn’t have, Felicia is always willing to try and order it for me. I also want to add that Demarco's carry’s some yummy take out lunches, snacks, sauces and so much more that is made by the owners mother. A true Italian cook. I can’t rave about this store enough!
I found out about Demarcos when I started doing the Keto diet, between 2017 and 2019. They have a lot of sugar free and Keto friendly options. I love going there, they learned my name and even now so many years later, greet me by name when I go in. I am not in there often, but they have a bunch of specific items I love and can only find there. Felicia and Ray are amazing people who run a great little business in South Windsor. Felicia put together a spectacular gift basket for me at the last minute! It was much more than I could have expected . The person I gave it to was more than thrilled. This is definitely the place to go for unique products and basics as well. I love that they also stock local businesses. So glad to have them in my neighborhood!
This place is awesome! During Covid, the started curbside. I would cal in my order and they had it ready by the time I got there. So quick and efficient. Also their customer service is top notch. I ordered 2 gift baskets from them recently. They looked amazing. Very professionally done
When you first see the storefront you might think there is just a little store with some produce inside. However, when you walk inside it is so much more! Local produce, baked goods, staple grocery items and ready to go options. We love stopping in to pick up fresh produce and a few treats from their large assortment of keto goods! Everytime we go we see a new local product to try! If you haven't stopped into Demarcos yet, put it on the list of things to do!
