I wish the walls were soundproof, not because I wanted to get freaky but because MY SINGING TOO TERRIBLE. The staff member can hear me sing my broken Chinese 凉凉 song and i feel so embarrassed. SO FUN THO
visited the other day and my partner had allergic reaction to something in the karaoke room. He was alright, just a lot of coughing and chest tightness but it was enough to make us have to leave after just one song. the egg rolls were the best i’ve ever eaten. they were seasoned well and very juicy. crispy and the sauce was wonderful. the sweet chili sauce for the cheese wonton was amazing. It’s the sauce i’ve been looking for.
We were there from 11 to 20 and charged $55.94 for 2 people that was ridiculous ask abt price before you go we didn't even order anything literally just sang.
Vshine is an interesting place to say the least. The karaoke was extremely fun and the best part. Although the system was not in English and didn’t have songs past about 2017, it was still fun to belt out some classics. Our server was super sweet but the service overall felt very disorganized. We had to ask just to see the menu and once we did, we had to flag someone from the kitchen down for water. The room was nice to have privacy but with the servers coming in and out it made for some awkward moments mid song. The room was also a bit outdated with worn couches and foggy mirrors but it did its job. They also do not serve alcohol despite being a karaoke bar. The food was alright, we found it lacked flavour but otherwise priced well. What shocked us most was the price of the room. It goes for $30 an hour, which is a fair price but you only discover that amount once you’ve spent time there. Maybe look into setting up a website or otherwise disclosing prices in the future.
We had a great time at V shine.. the food and service were great. The actual rooms were OK. They've got some updating to do, couches are a bit worn. Once people came into rooms beside us it was difficult to hear over them, unless we were belting out a song!
If you want to try something different for a night out this is for you ! My friends and I had a blast, karaoke room was clean, spacious and private. Food was delicious, piping hot and fresh. The restaurant and bathrooms were also very clean and the staff/owners were so nice and helpful. Highly recommend you checking them out! We will be back !
