Nothing is made in house, and most of the pastries I got tasted old and stale. They tasted like fridge, which I didnt know was possible. The service wasnt great either, the lady i talked to ever told me id look prettier with makeup! I will not be going back and I do not recommend.
Came in and asked about doing a cake for our wedding and a lady was very rude and dismissive so I left. Instead of explaining why they can’t do it they just proceed to be rude. Never coming back here and will tell my friends not to use them as well. You want to be in this industry learn how to talk to your costumers.
I recently had the pleasure of dealing with The Pastry Place for my wedding cake and dessert table. I cannot say enough about how incredible my experience was! When I placed the order, I got to speak with the pastry chef himself and he answered all my questions and made wonderful suggestions. When I picked up my cake the day before my wedding I was blown away at how beautiful it was. It was more than we could have expected, and so very, very reasonably priced! But the kicker was when we cut into, and tasted that gorgeous cake...OH. MY. GOSH. It was decadent! I think my eyes rolled back in my head for a second...lol And my guests loved it too, they ate every last crumb...rare at weddings these days, but a testament to just how delicious this cake was! I can't thank The Pastry Place enough for their service, they made my perfect day even more perfect.
Great place for pastries and desserts. The cakes are also amazing and are made with quality ingredients. I have been a long time customer of this place and recommend it to everyone.
Amazing service! The women was patient, kind, and informative. Very humble and generous giving my young sons sample of cookies. Presentation and taste of pastries were outstanding.
I had 2 date pastries, a bit dry, but I liked how they're made. The butter tart was good, the pastry dough good , but I would have liked to taste the butter. That's hard considering today's butter lacks flavour in my opinion. The white bread was fresh, tasty and had a soft chewy texture. It was molded like French bread and it was really good. I'll go back. I've been back a couple of times and in my opinion the cakes and cakes slices are the best. I have had a few cake slices and found them to be tasty, fresh and flavorful. I also likes the soft french bread because it is good for dipping in soup.
This bakery is superb! I have ordered many times and each time the order has been delicious, available on time, and so beautifully executed! From special cakes, to custom cupcake designs, fresh baked cheesecake and to die for brownies! The canolies are tremendous as well! Ali and his staff are exceptional! Thank you so much
