Food is solid as it gets. Very quaint spot, and nice man behind the counter running the show. He may be the owner. Would make for a solid take out business for sure, will be back
Beware!! The owner will try to overcharge you for your food when paying in store. I would not have known to double check if I didn’t see a prior review mentioning the same thing before going in. Sure enough after ordering my $16 combo, the total was over $3 more than the advertised price should have been after tax. The owner said “sorry I don’t have my glasses” before trying to input the correct price, however every single combo in the store is the same price, so I find it impossible that he wouldn’t have known the price. I also tried to order the dinner special advertised on their website and they did not have it. Definitely will not return. Take a 5 min drive down the road to Jefferson and Tecumseh for good greek food, you won’t regret it.
Asked for delight sauce for tatziki. Asked for no tomato and hot sauce on my gyro. Did get that either. I’ll spend my money with people that pay attention to what I ask for.
My wife and I had an absolutely incredible donair and original gyro, which we split. The restaurant isn't fancy, but when you roll into the plaza and see a single dude waiting for customers outside his door, you know it's gonna be amazing. And it was. Highly recommend.
!!BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU PAY IN STORE!! Multiple times when I have purchased the food in the restaurant, I have been overcharged. They enter the price manually and I assume expect you to not say anything or know what the price is with tax included. Very shady behaviour. The first time I chalked it up to a fluke and let it go. Second I made sure to calculate the final price first to be sure and I was again overcharged. I will not be returning and advise others not to until this practice is fixed.
Very tasty! I would definitely come back not only for the food, but great service from what seemed like the owner. Very kind and took the time to make our food with care. We got the gyro pita and small greek salad with chicken. Both delicious!
I have been ordering for years and the people are not the nicest BUT, the food is absolutely amazing so it is definitely worth the visit. The gyro delight is the best gyro I have ever tried in Windsor. I bring everyone here. They took out all the tables so you must take out
