Misbehaving staff specifically Cashier/Owner is so Rude. Don’t know how to treat customers as well how to communicate with customers. Worst experience ever. Kindly request not to go in this specific restaurant.
I order a chicken shawarma plate .it was almost all full of salad .a ridiculous amount of rice and even less meat . seriously I would be embarrassed to serve this.almost $20 !! . unbelievable!!
First time customer went in last week on lunch to order a chicken shawarma. All I’m going to say is big mistake getting a shawarma from there… just taste super off. Owner wasn’t too friendly and I asked his wife if she can add gyro meat with the Shawarma and she said they don’t do that. “ Don’t want extra money “ There’s my 2 cents on la pita lol
First time ordering, I got 2 gyros, a side salad and a humm, enough for about 3 meals. If you're getting a gyro, you may as well get a second one with it. It's a dollar off, and gives you left overs for later. Gyro meat has got some bite, and the tomato is acidic, but the sauce does a wonderful job of taming and pulling the sandwich together. The humm is oily and garlicy and delicious, pairing wonderfully with the soft dryness of the pita and the savory spice of the gyro, earning the involuntary "mmmm". A time-tested formula sure to delight. Overall, a quality sandwich, and the kind of meal I expect when I order from a place called "La Pita on Sandwich". On the downside, my salad came with onions and cucumbers, which I specifically asked to be excluded. But I had no problem pawning those bits off to one of my hungry house mates. There were no onions on my pita, so I'm thinking they were made by different people to get my order out in good time. The ingredients weren't mixed in, so it wasn't too hard to pick them out to my satisfaction. And most people want those things in their salad anyway. Also, personal opinion, their drink game is lacking. But, like... whose isn't these days? The presentation of the packaged meal was adequate. It smelled like food, and I was able to tell what was what before opening anything. Call me old fashioned, but I'm a fan of the occasional plastic bag for my garbage pail. Yh I walked out of here. Can't speak on quality of food as the older male worker was soooo rude and condescending to the skip delivery guy.....in front of customers. I wasn't the only one to witness it. I actually ordered my meal ( before the incident occured) and was ready to pay once it was finished. After seeing the older male worker bark at the delivery guy like that, I asked the lady ( second worker behind counter) to cancel my order. The same way you don't treat waitresses and servers poorly, don't treat delivery people poorly. Everyones just trying to do their job and support themselves. I won't be going back there.
Delicious, fast , friendly and very fresh I've been going here for years and have never been let down. The owners are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. There desserts are Delicious as well.
