Went to Antonio’s for the first time while visiting Windsor. We went about 40 minutes before closing and they took our walk in order with a smile. Staff was super kind and throughout had a smile on their face. Service was also quick. The pizza was very good and fresh. Highly recommend and will be coming back!
I was very disappointed in the service and food I received last night at this location. It was my first time trying this location, but I don't think I will be back. I called and ordered a medium pep pizza and was told 45 minutes to come pick it up, which is fine if that's how long it actually took. I am always early, so I arrived 20 minutes after calling, and my pizza was already ready sitting to be picked up, if I would have waited the 45 minutes like I was told, The pizza would have been colder than it was. I waited in the store, with my pizza already finished, for the two ladies working to serve me as they helped the delivery driver figure out how to use google maps and the debit machine. On top of that, the ladies were going back and forth from handling cash and debit to touching and making pizzas, with no hand washing in between. Which is quite gross and unsanitary. Honestly, all of this would've been tolerable if the pizza was the quality I'm used to at the original location, but it was not. The pizza was cold after an 11-minute drive home due to the time it took to be served the pizza, and it was undercooked, not crispy like it usually is. I no longer live in windsor and miss good pizza everyday, this was my go-to treat to myself after coming back into town, but I will now have to question that decision going forward. I'm not impressed what so ever with the service I received at this location. Never a problem at the original.
Antonino's Original Pizza Riverside location - A family review (Our quest to find the best pizza in Windsor) Review #9 (See Terra Cotta Pizza for review #8) $38 for 16 slices and a 2L bottle of pop. Antonino's Riverside is a bright spot in a great location. The inside is rather small but is available for dine in. The restaurant is new and modern. Lots of staff. Parking right out front of the store. Daughter - 7 - Neutral Son 17 - Harsh critic Pre taste - 8/10 Cheese - 5 Sauce - 8 Crust - Rarely eats it Overall - 7 Wife - Relaxed critic Pre taste - 7 Cheese - 6 Sauce - 8 Crust - 8 Overall - 8 Dad - Neutral critic Pre taste - 8 - The pizza looked appetizing. Noticed the slices were smaller and fairly thin. Cheese - 6 - The cheese on the pizza was very thin. It's a shame as if there was a little more it would be so much better. Sauce - 9 - Very delicious. It's very unfortunate that you can taste the sauce a lot more than the cheese though. Crust - 9 - Cooked perfect. Nice and crunchy. Would be a perfect 10 if it had a little extra taste of something other than dough. Overall - 8 - This pizza is very good. There are unfortunately, a few things that hold them back from being the best. The first thing is the lack of cheese. You really have to be mindful in order to taste it. Another downfall is the size of the slices. They are on the thinner side. I understand it is meant to be thin, but for the price you pay, i expect more. These things stop Antonino's from getting 9's or even 10's. I would definitely recommend Antonino's to anyone who has never tried it before. This pizza is really good despite a couple setbacks. First time, last time. We have been listening to am800 talk about the pizza at antonino's for a while. Finally when one opened near us we gave it a try, Very disappointing, We created our own that we have done at competitors, chicken was sparse, feta same, the only thing that was good were the hot peppers. For the price we were charged we over payed, The only redeeming thing was that the staff at they store were great, unfortunately that will not make us want to come back any time soon. So many pizza options in Windsor, this won't be an option for us going forward
Disappointed that delivery starts at $85? Not everyone is rich and drives. I’m sure the pizza good but I can’t pick it up every time. It is what it is..
We were so excited to try the new location as it’s closer to home tonight and it was fantastic! The inside is bright and clean and the staff were so friendly. The pizza is exactly as I remember it from the South Windsor location and it was great!
One of the best pizza restaurants I’ve ever gotten pizza from. The pizza was perfectly made it was amazing. The service, the workers and the restaurant its self was amazing. I highly suggest others who want great quality pizza to try out Antininos on Wyandotte you wont regret it.
