Immensely grateful to Darlene and the entire team for a stellar experience!! 10/10 minus nothing. Hosted a little over 30 guests in their beautiful and large private room. Darlene was such a joy to work with especially since I was located in Ottawa but was planning the reception for my brother in Windsor. The event came out too beautiful!!. The food was incredible, best steak and Tuscan chicken we ever had! The staff … incredibly nice and great to work with. The entire restaurant was super clean and everyone truly made our day unforgettable. Thank you La Contessa Ristorante … you have a life time customer. I will gladly recommend for personal and event celebrations!! Until next time ?
I had the new york steak and a moscow mule. It was one of the best meals I have ever had, there drinks are also exceptional. I highly recommend trying this gem in erie street out.
Enjoyed a nice dinner. Only complaint was we were behind a big party so there was a gap in time for the entree service...not really a complaint just bad timing. Meal quality was better than Vegas restaurants of similar cost that we were at two weeks before.
I recently had a group of 17 people for an afternoon lunch at La Contessa. Thank you, Darlene for your great ideas and being instrumental in creating a menu that I knew the guests would really enjoy . Throughout the entire luncheon, we all enjoyed every part of what our lovely servers Liam and Natalie provided. The food served was absolutely delicious from the apps at the beginning, to our meals, and the wonderful selection of desserts and coffee at the end! It was a beautiful afternoon! Thank you again to Darlene and Vito and your wonderful staff for such a beautiful day!!! 5 stars!
We went to this restaurant on Feb 12th for Valentines Day. Granted it was super busy, however the service was terrible. It took 10 minutes to be seated, after another 20 minutes I went to complain to a manager because we had been completely ignored, not offered water or drinks, placed our order and waited 1 hour for our appetizer to come out. Definitely won’t be returning.
Amazing food, polite staff, romantic atmosphere, reasonably priced. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day and we will definitely be back. Absolutely amazing. We were seated, served, and given our bill promptly and politely. Staff are well dressed and very kind and personable.
Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere.. we had a quiet evening with live music and the price was reasonable for a high end local restaurant.
Ate here today. Bowl of mussels and lasagna were delicious. Service was good too. I recommend it!
Food was excellent, it came hot. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very friendly and hospitable. Nevermind the fact that they had live entertainment. This is a definite go to spot next time we are in town. Belissimo!
WOW, WOW, WOW. Absolutely the BEST Italian food ever. Everything is made from scratch like a home cooked meal. I've been there numerous times, trying a variety of dishes and can't seem to decide which is my favourite. Everything is superb, the food, the atmosphere, the service and the prices are reasonable. I can't remember ever going there and leaving unsatisfied. Best part I always have leftovers that I look forward to the next day.
